Liquefied gas desulfurization catalyst

The liquefied petroleum gas produced in the petroleum refining process, coking, atmospheric and vacuum, catalytic cracking and other equipment contains a large amount of sulfide, which will cause the poisoning and deactivation of the catalyst in the subsequent processing. Roads and storage containers are highly corroded. When used as civil fuel, Sox will be generated, which will pollute the environment and form acid rain. At present, when LPG is used as a fuel, the total sulfur content is required at home and abroad, and if it is used as a chemical raw material, the requirements are more stringent.

Molecular sieve adsorption desulfurization has the advantages of no need for pre-alkali washing, no pollution, and adsorption at room temperature. However, it needs to be regenerated at a high temperature of about 300°C, which increases the operating cost and requires a large capital investment. Therefore, the use of molecular sieves for LPG sweetening is limited. Generally, there are more applications in European and American countries, and there are also applications in China. Therefore, the development of an alkali-free catalytic oxidation deodorization process that does not use a fixed-bed desulfurizer is the development direction of the LPG desulfurization process in the future. Therefore, in order to comply with the rapid development of industry and the continuous improvement of desulfurization technology, the liquefied gas desulfurization catalyst developed by our plant is used in the desulfurization process of alkali-free catalytic oxidation.
